About us

Our founders saw the inefficiencies firsthand while working at companies like Oracle and Thales. Inspired to make a difference, they bootstrapped our venture, building and refining our platform to ensure it could deliver real value.

Our journey

**Courtenay Hollis**, co-founder and our CEO, brings over 20 years of experience from working with large multinational software companies, particularly in Public Sector Defence and National Security, as well as startups designed to support heavily regulated industries. His leadership roles involved establishing dedicated units, strategising, and leading teams to develop cloud-based solutions. This experience has been instrumental in shaping Imminently’s approach to tackling complex regulatory challenges.

**Joel Nation**, our CTO and co-founder, excels in developing innovative solutions for the public sector and regulated industries. With a background in designing cloud-based systems for the Australian Government and implementing advanced data management systems for the Department of Defence, Joel's expertise lies in understanding complex client needs and crafting bespoke solutions. His role at Oracle as an Enterprise Architect for National Security further highlights his ability to lead technical teams and influence product development, making him a pivotal figure in Imminently’s technological strategy.
